Philip is an immortal archivist tasked with documenting dying realities, one collapsing world at a time. For millennia, his eternal ledger has recorded the slow erosion of stories lost to entropy. Until the day a folkloric town vanishes from the record and is replaced by a sterile line of text: ERROR 404: STORY NOT FOUND.

This is not decay. This is deletion.

A new force has entered the archive: The Silent Architect, an enemy that does not haunt stories. It erases them cleanly, surgically, and without remorse. To stop it, Philip breaks his vow of non-interference and turns to Adrian Locke, a damaged author who once survived a sentient narrative and barely escaped with his mind intact.

Together they cross cursed forests, corrupted myths, and fractured timelines, caught between two existential threats: one that wipes stories from existence, and another that traps them in endless suffering.

The Archivist’s War blends cosmic horror, metafiction, and mythic trauma into a meditation on memory, grief, erasure, and the weaponization of meaning itself.
