The Archive of Scars is Book Two in The Archive War, a cosmic horror cycle about a multiverse that feeds on its own stories and the people sworn to record them.

Philip was once a Witness, an immortal archivist bound by one rule: observe, document, move on. No attachments. No interference. No scars.

That rule broke.

Now Philip is moving through collapsing realities, hunted by the very systems he served. The Architect wants his file closed. The Curator edits memories like text. The Fold weaponizes empathy, turning human feeling into a fault line that can be exploited. They no longer want him erased. They want him rewritten.

Every archive has become a weapon: a murdered sybil’s last breath that kills anyone who hears her unfinished prophecy, a Clockwork Grave where time refuses to move, and a forbidden mirror where a different Philip steps out, the version with no scars, no doubt, and no mercy.

Each file was supposed to be stable. Each one now pushes back, and Philip is the sharpest edge in the room.

As he follows a trail of sabotaged stories across haunted libraries, dead timelines, and broken cities, one truth becomes impossible to ignore. There is a new Author at work, one who treats entire worlds like pages, and Philip like a character due for revision.

To survive, Philip must decide what kind of mark he is willing to leave: a neat correction in someone else’s script, or a scar that refuses to heal.
