The Unwritten

When blocked novelist Elias Crane sits down in his decaying apartment to force one more page, the blank document in front of him stops behaving like paper and starts behaving like a witness. What first appears to be insomnia, guilt, and creative collapse becomes something far worse: a predatory intelligence Elias has long called the Muse, a thing that feeds on fear, memory, and the act of writing itself.
