When her brother Torin is dying and a message arrives from the ruined Shattered Archive, Ismene makes a choice she cannot undo: she goes looking for the Black Book, an artifact rumored to rewrite fate, and the stylus that forces the world to obey what you write.

But the Book does not grant clean miracles. It answers with Echoes, with hunger, and with a widening silence that spreads through streets and throats. As faith, power, and obsession converge around the artifact, Ismene must decide what she is willing to sacrifice to save one life, and what she is willing to destroy to keep the Book from rewriting everyone else.

The Black Book is dark fantasy horror about grief weaponized as a contract, forbidden knowledge, and the cost of trying to edit the world instead of living in it.
