Across a decaying Los Angeles, Ethan Blake, once a Top 100 creator, watches his metrics collapse in real time. His face glitches on cameras. His reflection blurs on smart glass. A drone with a crow icon for an eye starts appearing at the edge of his vision, recording everything he does. The Pulse, ConnectSphere's all-powerful ranking engine, has tagged him for review.
