Redbone Creek is Southern folk horror with a crime spine, set in a Tennessee parish where the water hums, the fog remembers, and the dead do not stay put.

When a naked boy walks out of the woods covered in blood and stitched across the belly, Dr. Lena Voss is called to consult. Inside the crude sutures she finds a plastic bag of Polaroids from her own apartment, proof the predator already knows her routes, her habits, and her face. Locals whisper about the Butcher's Shadow, a bone-masked thing that clicks in the dark and feeds the creek its tithe. The sheriff remembers five bodies from 2015. The creek remembers more.

Redbone is a living system: a sinkhole called the Maw, a dry clicking that means the hunt is close, a spiral mark scraped into stone, and an old preacher's ledger that reads like a curse. As Lena chases evidence, the town loses people, blood spreads across cheap linoleum, and the hum in the soil gets louder. Forensics fail, folklore fills the gap, and the choices narrow to three: bind it, feed it, or run.
